WorldClock24 is a Chrome extension that displays the time in the browser bar and/or bookmarks bar. Protecting your privacy is a priority. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and how it is protected, in strict compliance with:

- Applicable current data protection legislation (GDPR/CCPA, if applicable)
2. What Data We Collect
✔️ Locally Stored Data (local or sync storage)
The extension only saves settings strictly necessary for its operation, such as:
- Time format preference (12h/24h)
- Selected time zone
- Show/hide clock in bookmarks bar
- Activate/deactivate light mode
- Language settings (en/es/gl)
This data is saved only in the user's browser. It is not sent, transferred, or stored on external servers.

WorldClock24 does NOT collect, process, or transmit:
- Personal data
- Identification data
- IP addresses
- Browsing data
- History
- Cookies
- Financial information
- Sensitive information
- Usage data or analytics
- Any type of user content
The extension does not use trackers, analytics, advertising, or telemetry modules.
3. Use of Data
The locally stored data is used solely to remember the user's settings, allowing:
- Displaying the clock according to preferences
- Restoring settings between sessions
- Synchronizing settings if the user uses Chrome Sync
No additional processing is performed.
4. Data Sharing
WorldClock24 does not share data with third parties, neither with the author nor with external platforms.
There is no:
- Data transfer
- Data sale
- Commercial exchange
- Integration with external APIs that collect information
- Third-party code injection
5. Permissions Used
The extension uses only the permissions necessary for its operation:
`storage` → To save user preferences(optional) `browserAction` / `action` → To display the clock(optional) `bookmarks` only if you activate a widget in the bookmarks bar
The extension does not have access to any other browser information.
6. Security
Although the extension does not process sensitive data, we take measures to maintain its security:
- No data is sent off the device
- There are no external connections
- The code is open source on GitHub
- The Chrome Web Store data protection policy is followed
7. User Rights
As a user, you can:
- Review the saved settings
- Delete settings from Chrome Storage
- Uninstall the extension at any time
